Some gardens need to be loud to make an impact. Not this one. At the Dietz family home, clear architecture meets lush greenery, and right in the middle: RIVA, our lounge series and matching folding table, which give this retreat its calm self-evidence.
Under a dark pavilion roof with slatted walls made of warm wood, we have created a place with the family that merges living room and garden. The RIVA Lounge combination B with its accompanying coffee table blends seamlessly into this architecture with its clear, cubic structure. Anthracite covers, precise edges, no superfluous detail – and yet an invitation to relax. This is exactly what drives us at conmoto: design that does not draw attention to itself, but to the life that takes place within it. An afternoon with children, a glass of wine in the evening, a book in the shade; the combination invites all of this.
A few meters further in the sun under an umbrella, stands the RIVA folding table. Reduced in form, but thought through to the last detail: it can be flexibly folded in and out and grows with the demands of the day – whether a spontaneous lunch for two or a long table for the whole family. Made of HPL, it is made for just such moments: scratch-resistant, insensitive to sun and weather influences, easy to clean even when children's hands and full plates are involved. Robustness that you don't see, but feel every day.
This is exactly what was important to the family: furniture that supports everyday life without losing elegance. This way, the table grows with the moments of family life instead of restricting them.
